  The staff are young and friendly but clearly inexperienced. The kids area was in complete disarray, torn up coloring books and broken pencils all over the place despite there only being about 4-5 small kids there. The meals were ordinary at best. Old school Bendigo rule to not order fish applies here, as the barramundi was overcooked and definitely not fresh as the smell and taste were quite strong. The rib eye on special was overcooked and the cut was quite tough which was disappointing. Kids meals were almost inedible and even they skirted around the nuggets and fish and only ate the chips. I tried one of each and they tasted of nothing but salt and were clearly of the frozen cheap variety. Overall pretty disappointing given the hype around the revamp. Some tweaks would make it really good but until then I'm giving it a wide berth.

  Terrible menu options for vegetarians; vegans, don't even bother. We were promised dietary-requirement menu options when booking the dinner, yet upon arrival we were told that the main menu was the only menu available. In addition, the only baby change table was in the ladies toilet. Dads change nappies too, you know. Our carnivorous friends did not finish their mains; at least one diner reported the pork too dry to swallow. Also the kids' area is a mini gambling den. Horrifying. At least the Greek salad was nice.
